The online dictionaries available at bpb.de, the website of the Federal Agency for Civic Education, provide concise and comprehensible descriptions and definitions of approximately 8,000 terms across various domains, such as politics, economics, Europe, environment, and culture. These resources encompass a wide range of topics, covering definitions related to individuals, countries, and institutions both nationally and internationally: from "Member of Parliament" to "Second Vote," and from "Afghanistan" to "Cyprus."

A Suitable Resource for Everyone

The collection includes materials tailored to different educational levels. For instance, the Youth Political Dictionary addresses questions posed by elementary school students, while the Pocket Series is geared towards secondary school students in lower grades.
